Makeup: The perfect smokey eye
A smokey eye makeup is timeless. This make-up is also immediately a more difficult to carry out. This article provides step by step how to apply this technique to get beautiful eyes that really stand out.
It is important that you prepare yourself well in advance. First apply a base makeup before proceeding with your eyes. Think clean to, camouflage, foundation, fixing and a blush. Read all about making a base makeup.
Now apply a translucent powder under your eyes. This gives you back away. The powder makes you redundant dark shadow of your eyes is easy to wipe away.
Determine what colors you will use for your smokey eye. You have 3 colors needed to go from light to dark. When you go for a brown or gray smoky eye, make sure you also have a brown or gray eyeliner.
Step 2: Eyeliner
I personally use for eye frame a kohl pencil because it is easier and blend better late than a liquid eyeliner. With a liquid eyeliner you your smokey eye only go wipe rather than with the other colors blending (mixing). You bring the eyeliner to the lash edge and you start at the top. From inside to outside bring you walk the thin eyeliner on the inside that thicker as you go outwards.
Repeat on the bottom of your eye.
Step 3: Blending
Blend or blur the line a bit. Now this comes very hard. With a special makeup brush made for blending you can do this very easily. When this did not you do that with a cotton swab.
Step 4: Eye shadow, the lightest color
You start with the lightest color, this can be a highlight but also a light color shade of the color chosen. Bring it in the corner of the eye along the nose and the bone below the eyebrows. This color is important because it will make your eyes light up and look bright.
Step 5: Eye shadow, the medium color
The middle color you bring over your eyelid. Make sure you do not go over the highlighter. The medium color do you bring to the eye but you do not go over the crease.
Step 6: Eye shadow, blending the darkest color
The darkest color you bring in from the outside of the corners. You start at the lash fringe and ensures that this blends so well with the eyeliner that you do not see anymore. Work your way up the dark eye shadow. Make sure you do not come back above the crease, otherwise you get a clown effect. Also make sure that you are not too far to the inside does not go beyond mid-eyeball with the eye shadow.
Blending must be done very carefully because you are using too quickly.
Now smokey eyes are ready and can you apply mascara.
Ready your smokey eyes
applies to almost everything: practice makes perfect. If it does not work at once, try again. If you want to wear this look at a party, make sure you mastered it before you go to the party. So you do not get any surprises a few hours before the party.
